To The Editor:

I suppose many readers will react to Allan Kozinn's consideration of Philip Glass more out of their love or hate of the music than the content of the article. I'd like to compliment Mr. Kozinn on being fair, considerate and even-handed. My one caveat is that more credit is due Mr. Glass for having achieved that extremely rare American (composer's) dream: making a living from writing music.
