Pleasing was she to look at
	Persuasively sweet did I plead
A haven of refuge, a broom's solace
	But the game is wary of talk

Evidence, proof, I need, O Muse
	To-morrow another evening
Another maiden will I see
	Time to prove my suit, I need not
