Inspiration
	Dragged behind
Action between
	Did progress
Thou knowest
	Results ahead

A light drizzle
	He knew not
Engrossed was he
	In his companion
Pink ears, silent tongue
	He discovered further

Inspiration
	Grew laggardly
Nay, no blame to him
	But to that Eve
That had him in trail
	Did she?

Action became lordly
	Results was to move on
Io was trustful in truth
	So Jupiter crossed the walk
Leaving action and inspiration
	Without results, fie mortals

Beauty of sorts
	Have they all
How is one to judge, O Eve
	Let me go on, I want life

Results and end awaited
	Done with inspiration
Finished with action
	Away sleep's to be had
On my knees, O Muse, is the last
	To supplant the first in my heart?

Thus mortals question
	I had lived a brief span
Labored, I had not, but
	To-day again begins the strife
On with life, I desire it, live
	Man and woman, two on the road
