Mind, all powerful
Does heart there too yield?
Problem all perplexing
Time, for him, to solve

Dangers there are, great
Yet will love conquer these
To show him beauty, truth,
Or shall it be, play on?

Let's play on for the while
Truth we see, beauty we have
Will weakness grow strong
To overwhelm love and life

If everything to moderation
Then let passion live restrained
Love itself, in time, the victor
For him, then, to toil and live
