GENERATIONS Copyright (C) 1997 by Not Nice Music II. A COLLECTION OF OBSCURITY by Edwin M. Drogin 33. College and A Fraternity House A wall is a room is a wall. Kept cosiness in which is outside. Lit and warmed by the cold called civilization. Helped by the sameness of sex. Lived by the not living who are protected But do not protect themselves are protected. A house is a wall is a room And rooms, kept all cosiness outside. Love me in walls. The privateness of the wall is us And we love in a wall is a room. And love enlarges to hold two. And the school is another wall. But walls are passageways which can be streets Are streets..to walls and rooms and work. Work is a love like the walled love. But the privateness of this wall does not enclose. Briefly can become another wall which is briefly. And four is wall and five. Years are walls are separated by uncontrol. And one year is a wall-no streets-not even us.
