The sun was hot and he fell asleep Just as a boat began to creep. Around the bend it hove in sight, Its passengers gazed with delight. "There's enough skin there to make a mint!" But the crocodile didn't take the hint. They grabbed the pilot and said, "Now, looka here!" "over to that rock you gotta steer!" "It won't take long, just through that channel, We'll lay that "croc" out like a panel." The pilot didn't know his way, But he gave them the okay. "Now let's go, boys, turn about, The bow's in the channel...but the stern's still out." Oh, he wrecked the boat and the men all drowned, and now you can't hear a single sound. The pilot's down beneath the deep, And the crocodile went back to sleep.
