50. HMS Pinned to the Door (incomplete)

When I was a lad I served a term
Making engineering drawings with a hand quite firm.
I attended lectures, stayed indoors
And finished up my homework and all my chores.

	I finished up my homework so carefully,
	That now I am the owner of a silver "C".

As a freshman student I was such a bore
They promoted me to a sophomore.
I solved equations with a smile quite bland
And copied lab reports in a big round hand.

	I copied lab reports so carefully
	That now I am the owner of a silver "C".

As sophomore I made such a name
That a Junior student I soon became.
I remained unshaven and never wore a suit
The scholarship committee thought me destitute.
